The main purpose of Instrument Air Vessel is to act as temporary storage to accommodate the peaks of demand from the system and to optimize the running efficiency of the plant. It prevents sudden pressure changes in outlet of compressors and provides a stable pressure range. Air storage capacity of the vessel may differ in accordance with compressor capacity and air demand. Water vapor can be removed from system by water drain at the bottom of the vessel.<\/p>

Instrument Air Vessel has volume of 13 m3 and its empty weight is 5.4 tons. It is manufactured as per ASME Sec.
