Oil Production Equipment Manufacturing Successfully Completed

TROYA Oil and Gas Engineering has successfully completed the manufacturing of BEU Type Heat Exchanger, III Phase Horizontal Emulsion Breaker Separator, Oil Preheater Tank and commissioning for the heavy oil production field in Sanliurfa.

BEU Type Heat Exchanger:

  • Inside diameter is 0.9 meters and its length is approximately 6 meters.
  • The U-Tube bundle is attached to a single tubesheet, allowing the tubes to expand and contract freely under the influence of temperature variations. The BEU exchanger is the preferred design when the temperature difference between tube-side and shell-side fluids is high.
  • Heat exchanger maintenance can be easily done by disconnect the flange connection and remove the tube bundle.

 

III Phase Horizontal Heater Treater Separator:

  • The treater is designed to help effectively remove water and emulsion from crude oil well streams.
  • The crude oil which is coming from the wellhead enters from the upper part of the separator and falls out around the firebox at the bottom of the equipment. While the gas that may be present in the crude oil is collected in the upper part of the separator, the emulsion’s temperature increased to the desired temperature, to ensure more effective separation around the firebox. While the separated oil collects in the oil section, water accumulates in the bottom of the separator. Separated water and oil are sent to the storage tanks through the piping by dump valves.

Line Heater:

  • This equipment is used to raise the temperature of the crude oil to the desired levels to ensure more effective separation of the free water in the crude oil from the wellstream.
  • The burner is fired directly into the firebox. The U-Tube outside is filled with 75% water and 25% anti-corrosion heat transfer fluid. This liquid mixture indirectly transfers heat to the coils.
